Marvelous Storage plus PCIe Expansion Architecture

Following the long-term popular product line of Netstor storage plus PCIe expansion solution, now the whole new third generation has been freshly released to the industry. Featuring world’s most excellent design to have both storage and PCIe expansion integrated in the same unit architecture, in addition to the large storage it renders to computers, Netstor NA380A-G3 provides PCIe slots within storage chassis allowing users to make the easiest expansion of varied specialty PCIe cards to the computer servers ever.

 
 
 
 

64Gbps Ultra High Bandwidth – PCIe Gen3 x8

An ultra fast, high tech PCIe Gen3 switch has been thoughtfully built on the PCIe slots backplane within Netstor storage enclosure to allow each PCIe 3.0 slot in the unit to be kept at highest, full performance and achievements.

 
 

Up to 24 Bays Great Storage Capacity

Designed 4U 24-bay storage chassis with support of twenty-four hot-swappable drive trays. As each tray attached with 12 TB HDD, total usable storage is up to 288 TB capacity for work.

PCIe Expansion Single Slot to Three Slots

The first-rate and powerful design function for NA380A-G3 is to transform any single PCI Express slot on computer motherboard into three available PCI Express slots for users in favor of high performance and production. Except the necessary RAID card to be added, the IT administrators can still choose to attach two more third-party PCIe cards in Netstor unit to add extra accomplishments to computer servers.

 
 
 
 
 

Broad Range of RAID Card Support

Based on the application and demands, users can choose their own desired brand/model of RAID card or SAS Host Bus Adapter (HBA) in the rackmount storage for work. By utilizing a twenty-four port RAID card, the Netstor JBOD immediately turns into an enterprise RAID storage with RAID level protection including 0, 1, 10, 3, 5, 6, 30, 50, and 60.

* Note: A SAS Host Bus Adapter (HBA) is a non-RAID adapter that provides JBOD only option to storage.

Redundant High-Efficiency PSU

The Netstor 4U storage is built with an industrial, server-grade 650W redundant PSU that is guaranteed to have the highest reliability to the users and the IT system integrators in support of 24/7 operation application with no system downtime to continuously working with the computer server/workstation. Additionally, the PSU has considerately reserved one Molex 4-pin power cable for PCIe add-on card in the Netstor unit for extra power.

 
 
 

Multi Platform Support

The NA380A-G3 is created to support all kinds of computer operating system platforms, and the storage itself simply doesn’t require a driver for operation and application. Thus the Netstor 24-bay storage does work with all computers/servers running Windows/Linux and tower Mac Pro running macOS.

* Note: Whether the third-party PCIe card requires a driver depends on if the card needs driver at the O.S. level.
